Dr. Reid treated us like we were old friends upon the first visit. He made us so comfortable and explained my injury and what was needed in excellent detail. The surgery went wonderful. He was very informative and all the staff at both his office and the hospital were kind, very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend Dr Reid if you are in need of an orthopedic specialist. He genuinely cares about his patients and community. He is the best!!
John Reid is the Best in his field, in January of 2020 John Reid III repaired my quadriceps tendon and it has held up very well it's now April 2024 and i am able to hike and ride my mountain bike in the mountains of Taos New Mexico. Thank You Dr. Reid you are the best. !
Dr. Reid is the absolute best. He performed an ACL reconstruction and a meniscus repair on my 14-year-old son. His skills are impeccable. Dr. Reid kept my son motivated during the recovery process and got him back on the football field doing what he loves. Dr. Reid is one-hundred percent invested in the success of his patient's recovery. I truly cannot say enough good about the care we received. We are very grateful for Dr. Reid and the rest of his staff.
Dr. Reid is the best orthopaedist for knee reconstruction. He is also personable and fun living. He truly cares about his patients and he has many years experience in his field.
Dr Reid and his team took the time and made the effort to describe the damage to my knee in terms my wife and I could understand. They explained the options and once we elected a course of action, were very thorough in their explanation of what was involved and what to expect
I've seen Dr. Reid before a long time ago and thought he was excellent but no surgeries with him. Has anyone had a total knee replacement or tendon repair in say, the past year or so with him? Would like to know how your procedure went, the recovery and how you liked the doctor. Thank you for the information.

Dr. Reid was professional, kind and caring . His upbeat attitude and encouragement got me through my recovery from a complete knee joint replacement when my recovery took longer than I was expecting. He was quick to notice a problem and treated it when he was positive that another procedure was required. He worked well with my physical therapist to insure the proper healing for me.
During my office visits Dr. Reid really is down to earth and all of my questions are answered. He is confident in his work which eases a lot of my concerns. He also shares his expectations of me as his patient. I am having a total knee replacement very soon and I have heard by many healthcare professionals and patients that Dr. Reid is a great doctor and I agree. There's no other way to put it... If you don't want to stress see Dr. Reid III, He's the "BEST IN THE SOUTHWEST!"
