I have been having troubles for months and waited weeks to get an appointment with an ENT. The waiting time was longer than the time the doctor spent with me. I left confused as to why I waited so long to barely speak with someone who told me they don’t know what’s causing my issues and left me with suggestions for treatments that I have been actively doing for over a month to no avail. I went to Dr. Lazor after working with a wonderful ENT from Mass Eye and Ear. My insurance wanted me to stay in network. I saw Dr. Lazor for terrible sinus issues. He was in and out of the office so fast, it is obvious it is all about the money in that practice. I repeatedly went back for the same issue since he never properly treated it. In fact, I only saw him once in 5 visits even though my appointments were with him, he passed me off to the PA. Not only did Dr. Lazor begin medical procedures without explaining what he was going to do, but also he used highly specific medical jargon. I repeatedly had to self-advocate during my visit, asking him to explain what he was doing/why and also asking him to explain what he meant when he used medical jargon no lay person would understand. The experience felt dehumanizing and disrespectful.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Lazor since she was 9 mos old (she’s 17 now!) for recurrent ear issues. He is the absolute best! He’s very knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. He’s also a great surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Lazor!

Dr. Lazor was the best! He immediately diagnosed my chronic sinus issues. I was seen by another ENT doctor a year ago and the diagnosis was not made. He spent a lot of time with me and listened thoroughly to all of my symptoms. He was kind and compassionate as were his office staff.

HORRIBLE. comes in the room, throws all these diagnoses at me, then rushes out, not even spending 3 min. with me. Curt, rude, rushes right out the door. WORST doctor in the history of doctors. Came in today and told me I have sleep apnea and permanent hearing loss then rushes right out the door. DO NOT see this doctor. The WORST of the worst.

Cold, contemptuous, condescending. Most importantly Dr. Lazor did not listen to me or seem to care about my symptoms, concerns, or even medical history. I was supposed to have a second appointment with an audiologist directly after (ordered by Dr. Lazor!) but he didn't explain or follow-up - he simply left the room! Most horrifying was that he did not seem to care that I was distraught (crying in the appointment) and did not bother to ask me about my concerns. Just kept interrupting me.
