My husband was seeing Dr Buse when due to my taking large doses of prednisone my blood sugar was extremely high. He called Dr Buse who not only cled us in the evening but advised how to treat but also gave us his phone number. Since then he has ways been available and given me the best care and I am now managing my diabetes well. He is knowledgeable about all my other conditions and medications and given me excellent advice. I was deleting some old email on my computer and came across these from Dr Buse. My husband (a diabetic for 30 years at that time) asked for extra depth shoes. His circulation was poor (purple coloring on his legs at the time). Dr. Buse's response "color is ...a good sign of circulation" made me snicker. We paid privately for the shoes my husband needed.
