After 8 years of being completely dry, our basement flooded during the recent melt off. State Farm ASSUMED it would not be covered and as such never even made the attempt after I filed the claim to follow up with us, nor did they take calls from the ServiceMaster contractor they recommended. Amberly, I am sorry you had this claim and are unhappy with our service. You filed a claim with State Farm and our claims department suggested you use a restoration comapnies for the cleanup. You were able to chose anyone you want and you chose ServiceMaster. It appears ServiceMaster did not come out immediately like they should have.
