The doctor did not have good bedside manner and is not good with children. He may be a great surgeon, but needs to work on listening skills and compassion. We felt more like a "number" than a patient.
Fantastic Dr! Very to the point guy but at the same time friendly and listens well - I like his style very much ... his front office staff is also very nice and helpful - keeps you informed (I like that, too) ... Loran, in his office was especially helpful trying to get things scheduled and going through paperwork and things I needed to be sure and do / have before surgery.
Dr. Abbott did my treatment with professionalism that I expect from a doctor and he did it well.
This doctor doesn't pull punches and speaks frankly. He was very responsive to my concerns.
Don't visit this doctor. STAY WAY! He practices out of 4 different offices (Rowlett, Rockwall, Forney, Wylie), and his secretaries don't clarify as to which office your appoinment will be conducted in. The middle aged receptionist with black hair (possibly Hispanic) at the Rowlett office is rude and unsympathetic. She makes it blatantly obvious that the doctor's RIDICULOUS schedule should be second hand knowledge, deciphered, and automatically known to all those who don't have behind the scenes access to his appointment cale... read more
