I completely agree with the review from Denise. I went in with acute abdominal pain that had been on and off for two weeks. This particular episode had lasted about 18 hours at that point. I had been in the ER for about 7 hours when, abruptly, there was a shift change in both my nurse and doctor (both of whom were fantastic). Dr. Renelt walked in and unceremoniously told me they had found nothing wrong. Was sent to the ER for excruciating pain in the back of my head from an ENT doctor/surgeon that was supposed to do a sinus surgery for me that day. The only way to get any relief was to lay down. ER Dr. Renelt wasn't able to tell me exactly what was wrong nor give me relief from my pain. He told me that he didn't think he would be able to get rid of my "headache." A day or two later I read in my chart that he wrote he "doesn't give opiates for headaches." I never asked for pain meds let alone opiates. All I wanted him to do ... read more
