I am VP for Advancement for Doe River Gorge, a Christian camp in Hampton, Tennessee. We give a significant amount of scholarships each summer for campers who otherwise could not come. John is gracious enough to give us scholarships for children of veterans. One of the scholarships John gave us for this summer is for a child whose mom is a single parent on a one-year assignment in Afghanistan in a very dangerous area.
