Joey's Legacy itself is a GREAT organization! It helps those who have been the victim of veterinary malpractice. The owner/founder, Scott Fine, helped me and I've expressed my sincere gratitude to him for his assistance. The one VERY BAD aspect is that he has received several negative complaints from clients (including me) about a woman he refers named Willisha "Lisa" Washington (J Washington & Associates). I used Joey’s Legacy and the associated Veterinary Malpractice Consultants to address the circumstances that led to the loss of my beloved dog and companion for over 15 years. Sadly there are not many resources out there, when dealing with potential veterinary malpractice and Joey’s was incredibly helpful in that regard. Scott Fine (founder of Joey's Legacy, a non-profit & Veterinary Malpractice Consultants, for profit) continues to bully me by blocking my honest review about my experience with his company and a person he personally recommends to grieving pet owners to help with their claims. He will be sued if his bullying antics continue and the Better Business Bureau will receive a formal, non-removeable review. This review is not slanderous in any way. Joey’s Legacy was a pleasure to work with. They really showed compassion about myself and my cat. Scott was incredibly nice and helpful and always got back to me quickly with any questions I had throughout the entire process. Scott then introduced me to Lisa who took care of all of my insurance related questions/issues. They are very caring of their clients/cases which truly means a lot coming from a distraught pet parent. I would absolutely work with them again if needed!
