We've been going to Joey's a few times a year since they opened... a long time ago! I love to be able to go to a restaurant and have a conversation at my table, Joey's allows for that with no loud music blaring! Food was good although my calamari was kind of bland ... the coconut shrimp, the fish tacos, Cesar salad, and kids quesedilla & fries were excellent though! I was at a family dinner last evening and enjoyed fish and chips from Joey's Fish Shack I moved from Nova Scotia last April and have yet to test the fish and chips in Grand Prairie let me say Joey's Fish Shack has done an outstanding job! I look forward to my next helping
Maybe I'll come back when you get a new cook. Can't even make a shrip dumpling salad. Brown lettuce. Just gross
We tried the deep fried cod, cod tacos, and original fish and chips this time. It was all freshly made to order and the portion sizes were on par. I miss the coleslaw being standard with combo meals, but for the extra charge, its worth it. Side note, what's with the price of gravy everywhere nowadays? $3.50 for a mini splash of average powder mix seems a little much. Overall, the meals were great.
