Just no good
We decided to stop in after being in town for a couple days. Absolutely delicious! The serving staff were attentive without being overwhelming, made sure we had everything we needed (extra lemon, etc) and the food came out fast, hot and plentiful! We will definitely be back!
Crab =/= Crab Legs, whoever is managing the pricing and advertising for this store needs to get fired. $46 for Crab Legs, despite saying “crab” and a single stick of thin and greasy scallop covered in a dollarama breading is wild. Wait for CB to fully or go elsewhere for your seafood needs.
We arrive at 12:56pm no customers. The server's first impression of us is not good. My son suddenly sat down, and the server said, "You have to wait to be seated." We understand that part but she's not friendly at all the way she talks to us. I don’t know why so we decided to leave rather than eat in that atmosphere.
We've been going to Joey's a few times a year since they opened... a long time ago! I love to be able to go to a restaurant and have a conversation at my table, Joey's allows for that with no loud music blaring! Food was good although my calamari was kind of bland ... the coconut shrimp, the fish tacos, Cesar salad, and kids quesedilla & fries were excellent though!
