I saw Dr. Papa several months ago for a boil I had in my right armpit. It was swollen and had to be drained. She did an in-office procedure where she used a scalpel to slit a hole for pus to ooze. Despite the procedure being a bit uncomfortable, I was happy to get this done since I had been feeling discomfort with this boil there. However, I noticed how HUGE the slit she cut was. Beyond professional, caring, and excellence in procedure and surgery, Dr. Joey Papa is the best I have ever seen. She removed a lipoma from my forehead. RMP.
I first met Dr. Papa in 2011 when I was brought up to surgery from the Emergency room bc of a needed appendectomy. She was amazing ! So friendly , warm , down to earth - I felt like I knew her for years! Just recently Dr. Papa removed a Lipoma from under my arm. When I went in her office she automatically remembered me! And once again she was amazing- always confident , friendly , comforting with her down to earth personality! I would recommend Dr. Papa for any surgery needed. Thank you !
I from my past experience with this doctor would never recommend her. She said my husband needed his whole foot amputated, when it turned out, he did not . When she was located in Stamford, Ct Washington Blvd. Took my husband to Norwalk Hospital the next day, for a second opinion. Turned out she was so incorrect. Although my husband, and I thought she was very convincing at the time. Thank God, for my gut instinct, we sought a second opinion. Thank God for Dr. Wainwright Poor Judgement Papa.
Dr.Papa was exceptional from the very beginning. Asking questions to make sure she understood exactly how to proceed. She was warm, caring yet very professional. I would highly recommend her to anyone. She was recommended to me by my wife.
I'd like to express my sincere appreciation for all that Dr. Papa did for me. From the moment I met Dr. Papa, I knew I was immediately in the best hands for my surgery. She made me feel safe, cared for and comfortable before, during and after my surgery. Dr. Papa is truly the best!!

Tremendous! Every once in a while you encounter someone who has a true command of their chosen craft. First, she made time in a busy schedule to see me. Then Dr. Papa along with her very cordial staff put me immediately at ease and proceeded to examine me and then explain her course of action. Shortly thereafter, I was on my way home with my follow up visits scheduled and two weeks later my issue was resolved.
