One of the best plain NY pizza slices I’ve had. We went around the corner to John’s Pizza on Bleecker afterwards and the difference was noticeable. This one is the better plain slice hands down.

Joe's is a no frills, by the slice (or pie) old school authentic style pizza joint! I appreciate everything about the place, all the way down to his "cash only" policy!!! Definitely Recommend stopping by the location on Carmine St where Joe himself still works behind the counter!!!
Slice was soggy tonight with a lot of black burnt oven dust on each slice which hurt the flavor, I’m used to it being very crispy to cut and hold, very disappointed,
