It was… okay. Sandwich bread was good, but the sandwich toppings were minimal and flavor was pretty lacking. Turkey was good, just kinda bland. Same issue with cole slaw. Felt mostly like wet lettuce and carrots. Almost 0 flavor. Service was good, atmos was good. Just kinda bummed on the actual flavor of the food.
Usually the vegetarian sandwich option is a hummus wrap or veggies and cheese, but at Joe's it's delicious and feels thought out like all the other sandwiches. I was also happy to learn they could sub the tofu on other sandwiches if desired.
Honestly sick of having to leave reviews of places like this around Buffalo but it's getting really bad. I have always loved this place and wanted to grab lunch after not being here for some time. Came in and was not greeted, instead was ignored for three minutes while the employee Amber turned around and said "order down there." So I did. Ordered the egg salad sandwich and waited 20 mins for it with only one employee at the front busting his butt on register and trying to prepare orders.
