Loss of power steering due to a broken serpentine belt kept me stranded in Owosso after work for an extra couple of hours this evening. Thankful for our super nice tow truck driver, Travis, who offered to change the belt and avoid towing and repair fees. He also let my husband use his discount at an auto parts store for the part. I needed some help with a “tow” late Sunday night, Scott arrived as quickly as he could. Very friendly and professional and handled the job very quickly. While traveling on I 69 today, I hit a large chunk of asphalt. Needless to say I had to pull over and my car was not drivable. The traffic was heavy and I was nervous about sitting on the side of the road. My husband called Joes Towing and sent someone right out. The driver was Travis and he was awesome. He safely helped me exit my vehicle and helped me into his truck. He was very understanding of how upset I was and we had a nice conversation back to Owosso, which took my mind off what had happened. Thank you to the gentleman who was kind enough to put air in my tire and bend my rim back at the Perry Truck stop. I had a long drive ahead of me tonight in slippery, snowy weather and he helped me out of sheer kindness. You don’t find many people out there so willing to help; especially in the cold weather. It was a blessing and meant a lot.
