terrible – bad drinks, food is ok, service was bad, manager was rude
Poor everything - Rude owner – pretty much detailed it all above, not quite sure how this restaurant/club stays in business. Guess bar food close to this side of town limits your options.
Poor Customer Service – We sent flowers here to a friend for thier birthday party, and the person never got them, and there was a gift cert with it, they never did get that either! We have called several times, no response, makes us wonder...
Food Not That Good – We went here for a casual dinner, and came home after a sub-par meal. Basically this is a bar, probably a nice place to hang out if you are looking for a "trendy" place and like a clean, "hip" bar to hang out for a few hours. This isn't the place to grab a bite, in that the food was not that good . . . which is pretty much how many bars are. Food was okay when we FINALLY got it. Service sux. – Our group of 8 went here for lunch. It wasn't that busy, but it took our food FORTY MINUTES to arrive. There was not one word of apology or explanation from our surly waitress, Debbie. It wasn't until we actually stood up to walk out that she began bringing out our food one dish at a time. I love this place! – The Macaroni dish with Ballpark Franks is heaven in your mouth! Between the atmosphere, food and wait staff at Joe's I don't know why you would go anywhere else to. Thanks Joe!
Best Place to watch Sports Downtown! – Joe's Bar and Grill is the best place you can get some food and something to drink in downtown Austin! If I ever want to watch a game, Joe's is the place to go! They have awesome bar games there as well. I had the bone-in pork chops and they were delicious. I've been going downtown in Austin for years, and this is by far my new favorite spot! If you need a spot to go to watch the game and get some cheap booze and good food, Joe's is your spot.
