This shop has the same name as an older business elsewhere in the area. Perhaps by accident, perhaps to trap the unwary. I certainly can't say, but it does not look good.
Having owned an auto service garage in Ohio, I'm extremely particular with whom I allow to work on my vehicles. Joe's Auto is old-school and will only repair your car if it needs it. He doesn't up-sale you on parts you don't need and fully explains the situation to you, so you can make an informed decision. Joe's is the only mechanic I have recommended to friends and family. said it'd cost $700 to change my water pump and timing and It would take 2 days, which of course means the overnight holding charges. He also criticized me for changing my own brakes, which possibly lead to my wheel hub breaking, and said that I bought a lemon for car. He also compared me to his son and said I don't listen (Because I'd rather change my own brakes then pay $250). Yeah, not the most professional, prices kinda high, but work is good and he is a very honest mechanic.
