Rick and I had an amazing dinner at Joe’s Bistro last night. Prime Rib dinner with vegetables and mashed potatoes. The prime rib had a horseradish crust on top and it was the largest piece of prime rib I have ever seen.
RecommendedMy wife and I really enjoyed the food. The portions were just right, the food tastes great and the staff were exceptionally nice.
I had the Crab Cake Salad and others at the table had the steak salad and Encrusted Trout everyone loved their dish. Such unique flavor pairings...just mouth watering good. Would definitely go back next time we are in the area.
I took my parents for my mom's birthday and was really disappointed. It was blazing hot with a strange smell. We waited 1 hour for our food which we thought was strange because we ordered our food long before other tables received their food. Our food arrived and my husband enjoyed his salmon. My mom's chicken in her Chicken penne pasta was over done (I guess better than under done). My poor father needed a chainsaw for his pork chop and the shrimp in my linguine wasnt edible. Restaurant had a musty odor and the food was just ok. Not like the recommendation we received. I would not go again.
It was delicious. We all enjoyed our meal. Our linguini with shrimp and scallops was exceptional. Will definitely go back.
Went to Joe's 10 years ago with wife (before kids) and was looking to be wow'd like before. I was excited when I found the place and reminded the wife about the nice meal we had... Not this time. Kids meal was $18 for subpar chicken fingers and fries with homemade ketchup that tasted more like cocktail sauce. Waiter was not attentive at all and we had to ask for bread. Adult meals were good when they came but for the rest, I was not impressed.
Enjoyed the fresh snapper special and the shrimp and grits. Prices were surprisingly reasonable and we plan to return next week when we are back in town. Wait staff was very friendly. I would recommend a reservation if going for the evening meal.
