Very nice organized set up. I maybe waited 5 minutes after filling out all my paperwork. Dr Joel and the NP are wonderful and very knowledgeable about Lipedema. I was at the office for about 3 hours. A body scan was done. Measurements for a compression pump and arrangements made to be delivered to the house with someone coming from the company for set up instructions. Dr Joel is doing what nobody else is doing in Michigan for treatment of Lipedema. She is paving a trail where you can get treatment from someone who understands the disease, sees it everyday, and is able to diagnose and help you get on a road to feeling better. That trail might not be a paved road yet but it's still there to travel and she's helping pave it by working for her patients to educate in Lipedema, diet that works, conservatives, referrals to PT & OT, and help with a surgeon if you choose. Dr. Joel and her staff are excellent!!! They are kind, caring, knowledgeable have an outstanding program to help people with lipedema. They know just how to treat it! I have never felt so heard and understood in my journey. I feel confident that my health will get better and better for having found this clinic and its outstanding services.
