I didn't meet his standards for a patient, I have Medicaid and evidently he doesn't like people who have it. I have a condition that requires surgery not a epidural steroid injection, I know because the surgeon I saw before him said that one would complicate nerve surgery success, find someone else

My son injured his back Friday at work and was at the point of tears so we took him to the ER at Arkansas Surgical Hospital. Dr. Phillips was the neuro surgeon on call and looked at my sons MRI Friday night and admitted him because it was a high probability that he was going to have surgery Saturday morning. Dr. Phillips made him NPO at midnight and showed up to see him Saturday morning. He was very nice when he first entered the room. Very happy with Dr. Phillips. Good communication, personable, and a great surgeon. His association with AR Surgical Hospital was a bonus!

Dr.Phillips has been wonderful! Great communication, he patiently answered all my questions. Surgery went great, and recovery has been amazing.

Worst bedside manners ever. My surgery went horribly and now having to have a re do surgery by another Dr cause he said nothing was wrong with me and now I can barely walk and in so much and it hasn't even been a year since my last surgery.
