Dr. Joel Phillips is my husband's doctor. He did a anterior cervical discetomy and fusion. We were both very worried as my husband has diabetes and other medical problems. Dr. Phillips is Absolutely Amazing. He talked us thru everything b4 surgery and prayed with my husband b4 surgery. And has been 100% present in everything after. Thanks Joel for being a great Doctor and down to earth person. God Bless
At first I did not care for dr Phillips bed side manner. I felt like he talked over me and I left kinda confused. But after he ordered all test and exams I returned for a follow up where he scheduled me for surgery June 4th 2026. I had severe nerve pain in my left leg and causing me to fall. Dr phillips was God sent. He placed 4 screws and 2 rods in my l4 l5 area. I am 2 weeks post-op and I no longer have to wear the back brace, I haven't taken a pain pill in a week and I fell absolutely like a whole new person in just 2 wee... read more
My wife had a 3 level disc fusion and disectomy. Afterwards the pain was still present in her shoulders and he said it was normal. A year later and she can barely walk. Terrible doctor
Dr. Joel Phillips is a very personable doctor! He makes communication with him very easy! He has given me the best epidurals in my back that I have ever had!! He talks you through what he is doing as he gives the shot. I have suffered through several epidurals from many different doctors, to have them not help me. Thank you, Dr. Phillips!!
