Do not switch your car insurance to GEICO. I have never had an accident and I’ve always paid my premiums, and I recently was an offender bender and went to use my full coverage insurance and basically had to beg Geico to process my claim. It took almost 3 weeks. I had to call three times a day every day. I was told I’d get a call back and never once did I get a call back. I basically had to process this claim on my own. Webiste doesnt allow you to input your full information and tries to force you into paying for a policy before giving you the correct price for the quote and then when you call them the rep was super frustrating and the price went from $350 for 6 months to $800 for six months. Yeah no way would i pay triple the cost of the current provider
Nothing against anyone in particular but geico as a company itself. When it takes a minimum of 3 days to verify residency when someone needs insurance ASAP, thats kind of a long time and now im without insurance. Also not geicos fault but when it takes that long just to check something is crazy.
