Extremely Disappointing Scheduling Experience We scheduled this appointment months in advance and specifically requested Dr. Abbott. Was supposed to have surgery on 5 19. Sent home because he over booked after waiting 3 hours. Get a call can do it next day. Go to the hospital at 930. Im told your next we have to get u prepped. Get prepped by 10. Ask how long it should be. Was told I'd be going in in about 30 minutes to an hour. At 130 I say it's been 31/2 hours now. They say let me check. I took my Father in to see Dr. Abbott for the 1st time, and I must say the nature of my Father's condition was a serious one, that Dr. Abbott's staff, nor Dr. Abbott himself was expecting. My Dad's appointment escalated from a routine exam to an unscheduled impromtu Catheter change, and Ultra Sound performed right there in Dr. Abbotts Office.
