Was supposed to have surgery on 5 19. Sent home because he over booked after waiting 3 hours. Get a call can do it next day. Go to the hospital at 930. Im told your next we have to get u prepped. Get prepped by 10. Ask how long it should be. Was told I'd be going in in about 30 minutes to an hour. At 130 I say it's been 31/2 hours now. They say let me check. I took my Father in to see Dr. Abbott for the 1st time, and I must say the nature of my Father's condition was a serious one, that Dr. Abbott's staff, nor Dr. Abbott himself was expecting. My Dad's appointment escalated from a routine exam to an unscheduled impromtu Catheter change, and Ultra Sound performed right there in Dr. Abbotts Office. Dr Abbott is truly one of the best. From the moment we arrived, he was warm, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable. He took his time to explain the kidney stone procedure, answering every question with clarity and patience. What stood out even more is how widely respected he is among other doctors-including specialist and even those at the VA. Everytime i mention his name, I hear nothing but praise.
