Bad service, but mighty convenient I've been going here for years, but only because it is the lesser of all the evils close to my Silverton home. They have tried the up-sell 15 out of 22 visits. Exactly 22 visits I keep all my big Yellow receipts! 1st oil plug happened on my 2nd visit Jan. 14th, 2003. Odd because it was changed 3 months prior at another location (Smitty's). Liars for Hire If you want to be hasseled to replace something on your car each time you go for an oil change then this is the place for you. My final visit was on 9/23/11 when I was told I needed to replace my oil plug fro 5 dollars. They told me the washer was bad on the plug and since it was attached and was not removable the entire plug would have to be replaced. I drive 30min just to go here! Love it! Only place I go to for a car wash and/ or oil change! Service is great! Lines usually go fast! the mechanics know what they are doing and tell you if there are any problems with your car. They dont push the sales so you know its legit. If you say no to a filter change or windshield wiper change they leave it as is. They actually SHOW you whats wrong and if there is something damaged so you know they arent lying to make money. as for car wash, wonderful washers. Not saying they are perf... read more

less than zero stars My wife took my car here for an oil change.She never mentioned it to me and I took it in LESS THAN 600 miles later. Our stupid. They did the oil change. When I went back to talk to the manager( he never identified himself by name) he said "we perfromed the service you came in for. We don't look at the mileage sticker we put on your winshield. it's automatic and we throw that stuff away. You come in for a car wash, we wash your car. Great service...I never had a problem I've used Silver Bay a few times now and I never experienced any problems. They are very fast, and they actually pay great attention to details such as wiper blades and antennas. My car always looks and smells great! I seriously have to question the validity of the two previous reviews. How do you explain the long lines every weekend? Sounds like one (or both) of these reviewers are actually the competition.

Horrible The car came out with white spots all over it and I had to get it detailed. The detailer said they reuse the water and don't filter it, and the white spots were salt from other peoples cars-ew.

The WORST car wash I have ever used. My car only has 1500 miles on it and I wash it every 2 weeks. I used Silver Bay for the first and last time today because the service was horrible. I paid for the top of the line wash and it actually came out of the car wash dirtier then it went in! Lint and streaks on the windows, scuff marks on the doors from dirty shoes and not vacuumed well at all, to the point I took it to another car wash. The BEST carwash in Toms River! I've been taking my vehicles to Silver Bay since they opened. They keep getting better and better each year. They are a family owned business and the take great pride in their work. The service is phenomenal, and the are HONEST. I take my vehicle to SB for oil changes, and no where else. They don't nickel and dime you to death, and the don't perform work you don't need. (Unlike some other local car wash/oil change centers who pull the old "you need a new PCV valve or whatever).
