Been eating here for many years, and it never fails to come through. Great fresh tex-mex, on HOMEMADE tortillas. Excellent barbacoa taco, excellent piccadillo. Good cookies and the friendliest staff...you cant go wrong here if you are looking for real tex-mex standards.
This place has the worst Mexican bread in Austin! I recommend La Michoacan which is just a block and half closer to I35. I bet once you try their soft fresh Mexican bread you'll be cured of the traumatic experience at joe's day old bakery.
