Today I was helped by Peter on a trade in/appraisal on my truck. The staff was overall very nice and welcoming. My family and I purchased 4/5 vehicles from here in 2025 and I would have recommended them to anyone, but we went in today looking for a nice used vehicle for my granddaughter and we were shocked at the new managements tactics. They advertised one price and tried to start at a totally different price. When we complained, we were told we were being dinged for trying to pay cash instead of using a trade in or financing. The sales people are very nice, but the finance department is very unorganized and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
I never imagined buying a vehicle would leave me in a worse position than before I walked onto the lot. I put $2,500 down, signed the paperwork, and was allowed to drive the vehicle for nearly three months. My first payment wasn't even due yet because it had been deferred. Then, without any warning from Albemarle Ford, a tow truck showed up and took the vehicle, claiming the financing "didn't go through."
