As an adult, I went back and got braces put on. Dr. Crain was the one recommended to me. While straightening my teeth back took longer than I had hoped, my treatment was excellent and the level of professional care given was top notch. Dr. Crain is a very warm & friendly man as well.
My daughter & son were treated by Dr. Joe Crain. The outcome of their treatment was superb!! Beautiful healthy smiles!! Office staff over the many years of treatment were always helpful & knowledgeable from keeping appointments on time to helping with insurance & monthly payment plan. Dr. Crain kept me informed about the children's progress and is available even for a broken bracket on a Saturday afternoon. Dr. Crain is an excellent orthodontist.
I'm not sure if someone was having a bad day when they wrote their review of Dr. Crain, but I used him for my braces as an adult 17 years ago & have been so pleased that we went back to him for our daughter. She had jaw issues and started seeing him when she was 8 yrs old. She is now 15, has her braces off and has an amazing smile with no issues at all. I just got my braces off and Dr. Crain did an amazing job! His staff is friendly and he does great work. One of the best in DFW for sure. Goes the extra mile to make sure you come out having a great smile. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
Great office staff, but Crain needs to retire himself. He has been condescending to us (the parents) on more than one occasion. He also didn't fix one of the major flaws on my child's bite. When I asked him about it, he was very dismissive and said it wasn't priority. I could never recommend him to anyone.
