I always took my son to this ER and this is the first time I had a bad experience the person behind the front desk had an attitude from the time I checked in. The doctors and nurses always do a excellent job and deliver great service but the front desk would make people not want to come back.
Stanly the nurse is pretty awesome. Great experience considering the location ☺️ there was another lady nurse ysennia or something she was awesome too
The wait is long but the care is usually good -better than other ERs I've been to with my child- except for last time. The doctor didn't contact our specialist, didn't ask for our doctor's phone number. The attending doctor just said she couldn't get a hold of my child's specialist, didn't do the necessary blood tests to check if everything the medicine levels i her blood were OK, nor did they give us a wheelchair when we left. My daughter had to walk, still shuffling and a bit dizzy, out of the ER. Horrible!
terrible wait time & attention
Any person working at this hospital should be embarrassed. My son could barely breath and we waited an hour and a half without a single person speaking to us. I finally asked a nurse when would he would be seen & she responded we don’t give wait times at Joe Dimagio. I left immediately and rushed my son to Memorial Pembroke 24/7 Emergency Care where we we seen immediately. It’s an absolute embarrassment that they called themselves a children’s emergency room. This is why everyone is disgusted with our health care system.
