My wife brought my daughter here after she busted her lip on 3/26/25. The plastic surgeon and some of the other staff had terrible bedside manner for treating a 2 year old, especially late at night. After the plastic surgeon did my daughters stitch, it quickly got undone and when the nurse came in, she noted she called the surgeon and he said "I'm coming back but if it comes off again, I'm not coming back after that". My experience was so good, I had to write a review as soon as I got home. Dr. Ramachandran was the best doctor I've seen in my life. Not only is she excellent at diagnosing and treating, but she has a wonderful bedside manner; she is empathetic and caring. The nurse (I think her name was Kelani, but I might be wrong:/) gave excellent care, she was so good at her job and so kind. She even found me a phone charger. Dear Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Representatives, I am writing to you to express my dissatisfaction with the experience we had in your children’s emergency department on March 6, 2025. We arrived at the facility at 9 AM with my 1.8-year-old daughter. She had a high fever that was difficult to manage. We were examined, and her ears were checked; a lung screening was performed, and she was listened to before being tested for COVID-19. I was not going to do this review because I’ve had such a good experience before in the ER at Joe Dimmagio’s with my son until I had to encounter Dr. Nilgun Antmen. I can understand that ER visits should be only for trauma related issues that happen. But as a first time mom, who saw her son choking on his own vomit and with a 104 fever, our immediate response was for our son to see a doctor even if it was near midnight.
