Place your order at the back with the friendly, languid Baristas, then cart your Triple Mocha to one of the rickety tables in the window or upstairs to the loft. The bar serves a few baked goods but it's the strong coffee and the chatty patrons waiting for a movie at the Harvard Exit across the street, that have made Joe's name. One only wishes the bar stayed open for discussions of the late show.

Love the joe bar!!! I went to school right by Joe Bar and I got my java there every day... maybe not EVERY day but I certainly thought about it every day. The environment is so relaxed and friendly, you feel like you are a regular the very first time you come here. I love the Joe Bar and I will miss it SO MUCH when I move.
TIny place, but full of good coffee and love! This is the tiniest coffee shop I have ever seen, but it's awesome. They make it work - there is a small upstair where a few chairs can fit, as well as a few tables downstairs and outside, so there is always somewhere to sit. Coffee is pretty good, and the counter staff have always been so friendly every time I have been in . JOE BAR for coffee and crepes! Joe Bar provides a warm, cozy environment to enjoy delicious coffee and chat. Their crepes are amazing and the outside seating is nice during the warm months. Great place to study too!
My first hang out when I moved to Seattle, so it feels like home. Very local, very friendly, a place where good friends meet. They have great coffee and delicious crepes, as well as a wireless network. They stand out in a town inundated with cafes as one of the best. It's right across from the Harvard Exit theater so stop in for a latte before the show. I am a student and find this a great place to study and people watch. I always see someone I know, so it feels like Cheers when I am there.
