I ordered a sympathy plant basket on May 20, 2026 for delivery on Friday, May 22, 2026 after 2 p.m., so the recipient would be home to receive it. The basket was not delivered, and I received no notification. After learning this on Tuesday, May 26, I called the florist twice and left two voicemails. I also emailed them. I received no response. I ordered a bereavement bouquet on 6/12 and payment was taken. On 6/14 I received an email saying the order was delivered. Unfortunately after following up with the recipient I found out the order was never delivered. When I questioned the order, she claimed “it was raining and so the order was brought back and she’s been in medical care the last two days so if I still wanted the order today or a refund.” It in fact hadn’t rained and the recipient was home all day so her excuse was a lie.
