I needed to have an emergency c-section from Holbrook, I was panicking and had severe anxiety during the procedure. Afterwards with out my consent or explaining anything to me, she put me under with general anesthesia, and I wake up two hours later in a strange room watching as my baby was wheeled in by my husband and a nurse. I NEVER GOT TO SEE HIM FIRST, OR HOLD HIM. I WAS IN SHOCK. WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE BIRTHING EXPERIENCE AS A FIRST TIME MOM.Please, just don't use her as doctor. She used to be kind, empathetic dr. She has become rude and immune to client questions and health needs. Stay away.
Dr. Holbrook has been my doctor for 33 years, helped me through a pre cancer issue, delivered my son and has been my menopause advisor. She is excellent as her job. I have never felt pushed into anything or ignored. My appointments are always on time and relaxed. I’ve followed her to every building she has had for three decades. She gives you honest, clear answers to your questions. There is no question on what’s going on when you leave your appointment. I would highly recommend!
She's an amazing physician who is straightforward and very knowledgeable.
The cornerstone clinic is very good. I love the staff, and the nurse there is so kind and understanding. I give them 5 stars! Minus the ultra sound TV being broken so I could never watch my ultra sound. Now Dr holbrook... she is very blunt... she tried to push me to get an epidural, told the entire room I pooped myself during labor, and while sewing me up told me I'd never look the same again. I've been a patient for 10 years. Dr. Holbrook has never made me wait or feel rushed. She always takes time to explain things and answer any questions I have. She is a little bit blunt sometimes but that doesn't both me. I appreciate that she's very straightforward.
she wanted to do a biopsy. She changed the vaginal speculum twice and took a biopsy, it was the most painful thing ever. Bright blood started coming out. She then wanted to change the vaginal speculum again. I was in so much pain. I was like I can’t take the pain. She stopped didn’t even put anything on me to stop the bleeding. Worst experience ever. Will never go back there. Had the procedure done by another doctor and it was painless.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Holbrook for almost 25 years. She delivered both my babies and helped me through a heartbreaking miscarriage. She has always been very personable, thorough, and kind. I recently was diagnosed with breast cancer and confused by all the conflicting treatment plans. Dr. Holbrook talked me through it all and gave me her honest professional advice. I’m so grateful for her support and knowledge. I hope she never retires.
She is amazing! I would highly recommend her to anyone???? She is compassionate and makes sure you understand what’s going on. She is the absolute best
