Without any doubt, Dr Barboza is a capable, knowledgeable cardiologist. What is lacking is empathy and concern for his patients. Not calling back after repeated requests for 4 days to issue clearance for his patient to have oral surgery for a fractured, infected tooth shows, in my opinion, disrespect and a complete disregard for his patient. I am rather disappointed in Dr Barboza. I had expected more from him. And his patient deserves better.
Staff at his evergreen office is extremely rude. Just had surgery on my heart, and they couldn't understand why I didn't want to wait a month to see the doctor. They cancelled my 2 week check up. Girl hung up on me after yelling at me. Great patient care!
