As always Joan’s is amazing! Could not recommend it highly enough! Total of 6 diners, every course was amazing and such diverse options....the beef tartar was perfect, the Apple manchego salad divine, and parsnip ribbons so creative. Plus the foie gras!!! The monkfish and scallops also perfect....and our amazing waiter Dan was the best!

This is the first time I’ve given Joan’s a lower rating than 5. Been there many times and usually have wanted to give 10 stars. But, something seemed off last night. Service was exceptional as always. Everything was plated to look gorgeous - I think it may be the new menu which I’m not sure I love. For the first time not every single bite blew me away. Thank goodness the brown butter pudding was still on the menu! Maybe just need to get used to it so will have to try again. Change is hard sometimes.
