EXCELLENT surgeon!! Knows her stuff and does a very good job explaining procedures to me (she has performed three different surgeries on me). Dr Labriola works hard to solve a patient's problem and make it as painlesd as possible. For example, in my most recent surgery done by Dr Labriola, she worked withe the nurse anethesiologist to find the least intrusive procedure possible and settled on light twilight and extensive use of local anesthetic around the operation site. I was able to wake up with no grogginess and go home i... read more
Dr Labriola was running behind-schedule. My appointment was at 2:30 . At least 3 patients went in before me. When I finally got in the patient room . it was a little after 3. Seirra asked me why I was there and took some notes. She looked at my chart and understood what needed to be done first. . An X-ray of my shoulder (multiple angles). Before I left the room Dr Labriola. came in to greet me (very nice). Busy or not she took the time to confirm what needed done. She told me she would see me after the x-rays were taken . Horrible experience. I'm left with a hand that no longer functions properly. She did finger release surgery. My finger now sticks at all digits/joints instead of just the one she was supposed to fix. I have a hypertrophic scar and edema on the palm of my hand now along with swollen tendons; this is what I'm left with for the rest of my life. Followed all post op instructions to the "T", did 4 rounds of PT and wore all the special made appliances given to me-all to no avail. Not to mention having to pay for a Dr. ruining my h... read more
She was spot on on her diagnosis, performed a full shoulder replacement flawlessly and offered compassionate caring followup care. I would recommend her to anybody.
She may be a good doctor, but both my sister and I will never know because she never has appointments available . My sister now has a permanent disfigurements because this Dr wasn't available. And I cannot have my pain treated by her because she has no appointments for weeks. I get the feeling that her staff is HAPPY when you are begging to see her and you have to wait weeks. Disgusting!
I recommend Dr. Labriola. She was the only Dr that diagnosis-ed my injury correctly. Long thoracic nerve palsy. I saw her in North Carolina. She was my third opinion. When the injury was diagnosis-ed and treated appropriately I started to see some improvement. I truly wish that I had seen her first as I would not be permanently disabled. The proper diagnosis is the most important item when rating a Dr. I have now seen Three more Dr's and they have all agreed with her diagnosis. Surgery is the only option now and there is no ... read more
