Dr. Betancourt is fine, it's the office that is horrible. They require that you leave a credit card on file that they can charge - or you have to prepay. They will not see you if you don't. It doesn't matter if you have insurance (mine pays 100%) and they do not tell you this when you schedule the appt. Be prepared to sign documentation that allows them to charge your credit card that they keep on file or be prepared to pay in advance - regardless of what insurance you have.
I recommend 100%. I feel like I'm at a second home the minute I arrive at the office. I'm able to be seen the day I call for an appointment, if not that day, the next. I walk out of the office with all the answers to my questions and knowing that my kids are in great hands. Absolutely friendly and trustworthy. 1 of my kids has a chronic disorder and I was guided the day we discovered his health issue, and ever since, they have been with us through our journey of his care needs.
