Susan O. I love Joanies. I usually order one of their incredible fresh salads, but at lunch you can choose breakfast, lunch or dinner. The restaurant itself is small, yet cozy. Parking is sometimes a problem and then there are times when you seat immediately if you get there at the right time or have a 10 minute wait. I would totally recommend this restaurant. Prices are comprable.
Great for breakfast and lunch I absolutely love the food at Joanie's. My husband and I go for breakfast and I often visit for lunch with work friends. Their onion soup is one of my favorites and goes wonderfully with their cobb salad. It is best for a smaller group, no more than 4 people. It is small, but cozy and friendly atmosphere. Great find!
Can't say enough good things about Joanie's Cafe I work in Palo Alto and love going to lunch at Joanie's Cafe on California. You may have to wait a little for a table, but it is well worth the few minutes wait! There are so many selections it is hard to decide for breakfast or lunch. I love the Cobb Salad and Tuna Melt. Go to Joanie's you won't be disappointed.
