Do not recommend this dentist. I went here as a first-time patient for a routine cleaning and X-rays. During the appointment, they took X-rays and extensive photos of my teeth, followed by what was, in my experience, the least thorough dental cleaning I have ever received. When the dentist came in afterward, she told me that I had 18 cavities, all of which needed to be filled. I was then given an estimate showing approximately $3,000 in recommended dental work. NOT GOOD WITH KIDS!!!!! I recently took my 5 year old for a cavity procedure & it started off well until he experienced getting the anesthetic injection for the 1st time. Anyone who has ever got one knows how painful or uncomfortable it can be. Of course my little boy started crying but was still cooperating until the dentist said he had to take x-rays from the right side because they forgot to take them the 1st time. Loved the small family feel this place has. Dr.Jernigan is so friendly and does a great job at keeping up with her patients. Every check up has been a pleasant experience for me. Her and her team treat all patients fair, honest and kind. Will not offer services to make money like most.
