Dr. Lanier came highly recommended from a fellow colege student, when I was an undergraduate. I was extremely afraid of having dental surgery. Dr. Lanier was very patient and described the process and very gentle. I did not need any pain medication. I recently traveled from Illinois to Michigan to have a similar surgery that I ahd twenty years ago, on another tooth. She is extremely skilled and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her practice.
I was referred to Dr. Lanier for a root canal on two of my teeth where I developed an abscess, and I must say she is the absolute best! She was very patient and thourough. She knows exactly what she's doing and not afraid to educate you on the process. The office was peaceful and quaint. I would refer this Endodontist to everyone!
I have had many root canals by Dr. Lanier. On my first visit I told her I was afraid - over the years I had 3 more root canal procedures and I tell everyone how wonderful she is. Her work is incredible. My dentist told me that my root canals were done by a "pro". I am a Canadian working in Detroit and had my appointments on my lunch hours and returned to work. Dr. Lanier's practice is a woderful place to visit. Her staff makes you feel right at home. She treats you like family as well as her assistant and front desk receptionists.
Let me first start off by stating that I am very much scarred of the dentist. However, after my first visit with Dr. Lanier I knew I had a good dentist. She is unsurpassed in her knowledge of dentistry and is genuinely concerned with her patients not experiencing any pain or discomfort. I would recommend her to anyone especially to patients that have tensions about being with a dentist. She is kind, intelligent and extremely patient when it comes to her work. I feel blessed to have such a good dentist!
