My bun was soggy big time and not hardly any sauce on the sandwich. And the fries are always greasy and limp. They need to be cooked longer and crispier. Next time i'll ask to have them cooked longer. I just dont think I want the wet sandwich next time tho. Everything else i've ever had there was good.
The meatloaf and pork chop specials are great, as are the fried green tomatoes. I've had the chopped pork sandwich and the tamales and both were good, but not standouts. I haven't had anything there that was cold or that I didn't enjoy and we've just started going there with any regularity a month or two ago.

It was Jo-Jo's. It was excellent, as expected. It's why I went there. They are always excellent.
Bun was soggy. Barely any sauce on the BBQ sandwich. Me and the girl next to me ordered mild. She gave us a mild and medium, when I said we both had mild her response was "well there isn't much difference between the two". Never offered to fix it. Service and food were definitely a 0-1 star.
I always enjoy Jo Jo's. They had one special left, pork chops, and Ann and I shared with an dded veggie plate.
JoJo's has been a family favorite since I was a little girl and they had a Resturant in Jacksonville. We moved to Arizona 30 years ago, but a trip home is never complete without a stop for our favorite BBQ! My husband and kids are hooked now too and it's the first place they want to eat when we arrive .
