Awful !!!! Jo Dean`s has gone steadily downhill since they opened the newer establishment. The bufett food tastes like it`s been sitting there all day, barely warm. Fatty roast beef, tasteless salads, old mashed potatoes and the restaurant doesn`t seem very clean. Will never eat there again.
Vegas Style buffet but better prices What a wonderful dinning experence we had. Every one was very friendly, even the kitchen staff was helpful. We had the buffet, what a variety of entree's we had to choose from. There was tender Roast Beef, fried walleye, Broasted Catfish, and sirloin steak on the buffet. The cooks even cook one meduim rare for me. NIce selections for the kids and all the prices were very reasonable. All around it was great! We will be back
BAD all around!!!! Do not waste your time going here. We went after eating here years ago and remembering it was pretty good. We went this time with family and the buffet smelled like a Nursing home and it was stale, dried on, liver and onions and so on. Not kid friendly by any means. My husband was turned off by the buffet and ordered a steak from menu and ended up waiting over 45 min for it and when it came out it was soo tough and well done (he ordered it med) that he didn't eat it. Not Good at best. Buffet style. Not much effort put into the individual foods. Service is good and the restaurant is spacious. But this poor review is on the food.
