Thanks for the heads up, he is a real jerk for not just taking care of it, and charging you for a diognostic blows my mind, It is really self centered of him to not be able to take care of a customer that not only is a customer but a customer that spent a large chunck of cash, these machine shops usually get there buisness through word of mouth, I am surprised he let a big ticket build go to hell, did he realy think it was not going to hurt his business. I spent 10,000\$ at this machine shop I had him rebuild an engine on my car after I came back from Iraq because i had some money saved up and I went big time on the the overhaul I got all the bells and whistles port and polished head with custom exhaust like I said I spent almost exactly ten thousand dollars I drove the car for two months then the head gasket blown out on me from what I suspect to be either a cheap head gasket for which I over paid big time or poor machineing by Jerry the owner of the shop.
