I rented from one of JMSRED’s California properties for one year, and it was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had with a property management company. From the application process to move-in, and throughout the entire lease, every interaction was frustrating and stressful. 1151 daisy ave apartments have a terrible black mold issue that jms refuses to fix. I reported the issue, it was denied, and I was told I could pay for a mold test out of pocket. I did and it was positive for black mold. It took then weeks to "fix" the issue which caused black mold to spread around the apartment as the work wasn't done professionally or completely. I was a tenant at one of their Phoenix properties for 15 months. I would not have left a poor review had management been a bit more helpful. The washer and dryer were broken throughout the entirety of my time there. The ac broke and it took over a week to be fixed. They cheaped out and sent out multiple people to try patch repairs each time that would hold up for a day or so then need to be redone. When almost all my rent money was stolen from my account, JMS worked with me and didn't even charge me the late fee despite me urging them to do so. (I was afraid of looking bad on record and would rather pay it than look negligent) They even offered me an alternate way to pay so I wouldn't have to depend on my bank accounts for paying rent in the future.
