Not that it matters because JMS is now bankrupt, but the level of quality and service they provided was criminal. Once you signed the dotted line, they could care less about you. Timeliness to get issues resolved was a complete and total joke. They would send out their handy man who would feed you lies on whether or not something is an actual issue or would fix something so poorly they would have to make multiple trips.
JMS is the epitomy of an incompetent builder. They don't actively manage their projects or do anything to ensure quality completion of the work. We bought a house from them about a year ago and we still have a long punch list with barely a response from their warranty department except "We've sent the list to our sub-contractors and are waiting for a response". Built with them. Would never do it again. After close...went almost 2 years without things be completed. They are non responsive and will happily take your money and not finish. Would recommend anyone to NEVER BUILD WITH THEM. Electrical issues, hardware issues. Never again
Great company to work with!
We started building with JMS in August 2020 and closed on our house in January 2021. If we could go back in time, we would never do this again. The first weeks working with them were great until we signed a contract. DO NOT believe all the smooth talking and hype that you will receive. As soon as the contract is signed, that all goes away. Every person from top to bottom at JMS is disrespectful, unprofessional, doesn’t have a clue about customer service, or is incompetent (or some combination of those things).
