Avoid renting with them. I had rats for months and all they did was send a handy man to put the wrong size traps once. When I called and emailed to follow up, they treated me like I was insane for wanting an actual pest control company or any sort of resolution. I, myself, personally (ya know, not the landlord, and not a pest control person) caught four rats with the traps I bought. I've lived at a JMB property for over 3 years now in a rent-controlled building and I have to say, don't do it. You name it, they've done it. Taking advantage of immigrants who don't speak English to illegally increase rent; failing city inspection after city inspection. They don't repair anything until you threaten them with legal repercussions. Recently, we had a major appliance break. Do not pay the application fee. I viewed a property one day, sent the application fee same day and within hours, all of a sudden the property is "No longer available." I drove 60 miles in the heat to submit the application fee at their "Business" which is a home, where they dont answer the door, you just put money in a slot in the wall. Pretty good livin huh? For $45. From someone that is very vulnerable right now.
