Like others have said they just steal money with service fees then never follow up.
Uninformed employees, and they like to get you on the door.
Lied to me twice. Plus, they charged 45$ just for a reading of their volt meter.

Go-to guys Landlord here, 51 older units, so that many stoves and refrigerators, as well as 5-8 washers and dryers at given times to keep operational. Steve and Gary have, over the last couple decades, been generous with maintenance and trouble shooting tips. They are my default go-to guys when I have a problem. I've bought used appliances from them as well as lots of parts. When something needs fixing, they are the men.

The best appliance repair store in Salem This small little store on edgewater is easy to miss, they have new to you washers, dryers and fridges. They also make house calls to repair your appliances. I have an ancient washer and dryer, and both times Brian has come out to fix it. He will tell you ahead of time if it is time to retire the old washer or fix it, both times, they came the same day and my bill was under 100 dollars!!!
Absolutely incompetent I have a gas dryer that has stopped heating (and therefore also stopped drying) I am a renter, so I called my property manager who called JL's Appliance and set up a service visit. Nine days and three service calls later, they have still not repaired my dryer. I have spent over a week working my schedule around their time-frame and watching my clean laundry dwindle away to nothing. Ex - Service Tech. I worked for JL's Appliance (Gary & Steve Lawerance) as there outside Service Tech from Aug. 08 to Oct. 09. This is the most ripe off Appliance company I've ever seen. I have been in the Appliance Service Industry for 35 yrs. These boys claim to be Christians, horse pucky. All they care about is MONEY. I've heard them talk about customers, not to there faces of course, things I would be ashamed to repeat.
