"I went in because my tire had a nail near the outer edge. I specifically asked for a patch because I knew a plug wouldn't hold up well in that area. Even though he agreed at first, he went ahead and put a plug in anyway. When I confronted him, he claimed a patch couldn't be used there. Having worked in this field before, I know for a fact a patch would have worked perfectly. It felt like they were just trying to push me to buy a new tire I didn't need.
