I have stopped by both locations of JL Beers in town before and have walked right back out because they are always packed. Today, I stopped by the downtown location, and there were plenty of seats available, so I thought I was in for a treat. I sat at a bar seat and asked for an Arnold Palmer. They only have bottles and cans, so the bartender said she could sell me a lemonade and a tea...I said great...as long as you can mix them in a glass with ice. Guess what? Food is so good! Chicken was amazing and they customized my order really great for me, I’m not eating bread currently! Appreciate the service! Drinks were filled fast!
Awesome beer awesome burger. What more do you need, not to mention the staff is on point. I highly recommend this place if you're hungry and thirsty or just bored.
John, the manager was friendly and welcoming, he suggested some brews to try and let us taste several different ones. My wife and I each tried a different burger and split a side of their chips. We each tasted the other's burger. They were both delicious. Nolan cooked for us and obviously knows how to build a burger. I have eaten pub burgers all around the country and these were definitely among the best. The entire staff was friendly and engaging. If you like a good burger you have to try theirs!
