This is an amazing place. Unlike big nursing homes— this is small and intimate, and the 8 residents are always in each other’s company. As well, the caregivers are always right there and available. My mother thinks she is at home having company. There is often a holiday or a birthday party—it is like living at home with a big family. It is Maria that makes the House of Grace so special. Maria, the director, is brilliant and caring, and very hands on, with several medical degrees and an infectious, can-do spirit!
I will always have a special place in my heart for the JK House of Grace, a group of care homes run lovingly, wonderfully and creatively by Khawla Maria Khader, her family and the staff. It was a great comfort to me knowing my grandmother was receiving the best care there in the last few years of her life. My sister is there and they are wonderful with her.
It is very nice. They take good care of the residents and they also take good care of the employees. It is a very good place for your parents. I was a former employee. This is an excellent place and it is always very clean.
