JJ's BBQ isn't a large venue, but the Food is delicious. The pulled chicken sandwich was moist and tender. The collars, broccoli and cheese, yams, cornbread stuffing and cornbread were worth the wait! They only take cash or Zelle and its worth every penny. I'll be going back. I'll also plan to try the JJ's Treats next door. I'm sure they'll be delicious also.
You could miss this easily, but it is on Bass Circle, off Washington Street, south of Oakwood. Excellent smoked barbecue! The owner has a smoker out back. All cooking done on the premises. I have to admit I am posting this based on one trip there, but I will be back. The vegetable selection looked good, no added salt. The owner is very pleasant and generous. I need to go back and get some pictures of the brightly colored outside, it’s really a lovely place.
Good Food. Good Service. Mrs Janice, (I'm bad with names. I hope I remembered correctly) was very kind and helpful.
Turkey leg is sooo good. Wow! I went for the desserts next door! German chocolate cake and a key lime mini. Just WOW! And I could talk with JJ all day if she had the time. What a great person. God bless you.
