I bought my wedding dress here 20+ years ago & we thought it would be a great experience for my daughter to get hers here as well. Our appointment was going fine until the sales girl asked our budget, which was around $3k but over $5k. Then we were shown the dresses in a dark hallway. We actually found 1 that was beautiful (not in the dark hallway). We ordered it (and paid IN FULL) on February 1st. We were told it would be 8-10 weeks to get the dress. Way before Covid hit. There are alway two sides to a story and in this one there’s a third…the Corona Virus. It was and still is a factor in sewing and delivery dates changing for all aspects of the bridal industry around the world. The global pandemic made getting quick responses difficult as designer workshops and lace and fabric suppliers were shut down or short staffed around the world. Gotta say, I fully recommend J.J. Kelly to anyone looking for a tuxedo rental, suit, etc. We had a very poor experience with Men's Wearhouse due to the madness of COVID and from just poor customer service and professionalism on their end, but J.J. Kelly has offered us better quality service and results for less $ than Men's Wearhouse. Not a sponsored post (I wish!) but just want to point people in a direction to a business that definitely cares more about their customers than other competitors.
