RecommendedWe had our roof replaced in March of 2019, they did a fantastic job, as it's a difficult roof to work with. I & my son felt the price was very reasonable. Neighbors commented over the beautiful job. On May 17th a tree fell on my new roof-luckily the chimney caught most of the tree. John came out to check for damage, & immediately offered to work with my insurance company. So grateful! John really knows roofing issues-I'd recommend JJ construction to anyone.
We called JJ Construction last Wednesday (March 8th) when the wind storm hit, and they gave us an appointment on Monday, the 13th of March. They called Monday to reschedule because they had more important appointments. We understood. They rescheduled the appointment for today (March 17th) at noon. 1 PM came and no one showed. Stacey called and was told John would give her a call back. It is now 6 PM and no call & no show. I understand there are houses with more damage than ours but all you have to do is call. Top-notch company, that has been taking care of my residence(s) for over a decade. Over the years John and his team have complete projects for me, too numerous to count or list. This was the most recent- We live in one of the local historic districts and house alterations follow an extremely strict code. With this project they utilized the assistance of numerous other companies as 6 or 7 different types of wood were needed. Some pieces were hand built in John's shop and all came together beautifully. This company is the armpit of construction companies in Rochester NY. My wife and I reworked our vacation so we could get them out to look at our ice dam damage exterior and interior. They did not show up to the appointment, did not even call us. Left a message with the president of the company that night. Never received a call back! Called a week later to the office and the office girl said she look into it right away and call us back. Four days later and have not heard a thing. Horrible communication! I brought in nails and a broken hammer i found as the snow melts, that could have seriously hurt my son while playing in the snow because i was never informed they left these items behind in my yard!!! I was told the owner john would give me a call and i have yet to hear anything from anyone except the secretary whom when i dropped these items off to their office also agreed these findings are completley unacceptable! They put my child at risk.
