I strongly do not recommend Dr. Kar if you are seeking a caring and compassionate professional. I have been a patient of Dr. Kars for several years. And while he provided the proper testing to diagnose my Small Fiber Neuropathy, he immediately referred me to the UAB Medical Center for treatment. While I was at UAB the doctors there did the rest of my testing and made the decision to start me on IVIG which Dr. Kar said, in writing, he would monitor in his office infusion center.
