Both of my parents were teachers and love the aspect of teaching patients about their disease process and how surgery can help them. I enjoy educating not only patients and their families but medical students and residents as well. It is so meaningful to see how surgery can change a patient's life.

She is on top of her game. She made it as easy has it could be. Takes plenty of time on Dr.'s office visit. She will make you comfortable.
I had bariatric surgery with Dr. Bruce. She explained my hernia would not fix my acid reflux problem, very thorough before and after my surgery. I have had 0 issues since May 9, 2019. Many thanks to Dr. Bruce and her team for taking care of me. I have lost 62lbs and I feel great. Thank you all so much!

The bad decision I made to see dr bruce she was my surgeons for hernia repair but the next day after the surgery it was the same swollen same pain she said it's normal I have to wait for 2 or3 months she didn't even notice that I still have hernia same one or a new one or she did see it but wasn't honest with me now I have to do a second surgery to repair the same hernia I really regret to choose her

Terrible , multiple issues after hernia repair.
Dr. Jinnie Bruce does not care about her patients. I had my gallbladder removed recently and she said I would only get one incision, she ended making 3 and not telling me about after the surgery. In fact, I never saw her after the surgery. She was also very late to my surgery and felt like she was rushing me through questions I had before the procedure. Horrible bedside manner. Dr. Bruce is a very talented and caring surgeon. She explained all the options for my particular case. I ended up having to have surgery, which was a complete success. She took the time to visit me at the hospital even on her off days. She listened with intent to my questions and concerns and thoroughly answered them to my satisfaction. I would recommend her 100%.
Dr. Bruce was kind, thorough, and understanding. Great bedside manner and expert knowledge of my condition. She took time to go through my treatment options and did not pressure any particular course of action. She was also running on time, which is amazing and unexpected. I am glad to have found her!
